Grandma Bridger’s Bread and Butter Pickles
Ingredients
3 quarts sliced cucumbers and onions mixed together
salt lightly
let stand all night
add
1-1/2 cup vinegar
1 cup water
3 teaspoons mustard seed
¼ teaspoon tumeric
¼ teaspoon celery
1-1/2 cup sugar
Cooking Instructions
bring to a boil
put in thoroughly cleaned and scalded jars
seal jars while hot
